Wow was this a great start to #nscm at Caffe Prego. Rajit looked after us so well. Thanks Rajit for the warm, resposive service which we really appreciated.
And thanks once again to @FiBendall for organising the new venue for the whole of #nscm without even being able to be in Sydney this week, really appreciated.
Things that came up that I can remember hearing or saying:
@TimOnTwtr shared his belief that the 140 second elevator pitch had been superceded by your 140 character twitter pitch.
Tim also showed us his favourite location based app called BlockChalk where you can leave messages for other about a location, or even that you have lost a pet in the area and someone might spot it and track you down. Ping @HelenCrozier my techno twin, yes another one we will just have to try out won't we.
@davidlongfield joined us for the first time that I know of. I was reading David's blog musings on new publishing models that @dreamingspires - Heidi had tweeted about earlier in the week. So it was so good to meet the man behind the blog in the same week. David also started Longville Books - www.longmedia.com.au a Sydney based independent book publisher.
Speaking of authors, Caroline Webster 'Caro' who wrote Small Fry Outdoors was attending her first #nscm that I know of.
Also as @JoanneRighetti was dipping her toe in the #nscm water this week too. 'Dr Jo' is an Animal Behavior Consultant and is a Pet Problem Solver.
